DVREADME.TXT Unzipping this file will yield the following contents: All.zip Dunzip.exe Install.cfg INSTALL.exe GENERAL: These files contain the complete latest operating system and utilities for a DVA184. They could be used to restore (without software options) a completely reformatted HDD. These files should be copied onto one 3.5" floppy disk and used as an installation disk according to the instructions below. If complete reformatting of the HDD was necessary, the touch-screen must be re-calibrated using the procedure in the User Guide. Call SyntheSys Research for information about how to restore the calibration and the options in case the HDD was reformatted. Unzip the contents of dva---.zip (--- = version number) onto a floppy disk and label it "DVA184 Operating System Installation Disk". Also mark the version number on the disk. The INSTALL program located on the DVA184 installation disk is a self-extracting program used to transfer the DVA184 Operating System software to the DVA184 hard disk and to set up the software's configuration. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: 1. Power on the DVA184 and get to the DOS prompt. If the DVA184 program has started, exit by using "Quit" 2. Insert the Operating System Installation Disk into the DVA184 floppy drive. 3. Start the Installation program from the DOS mode. Type 4. Wait for the INSTALL program to complete. 5. Reboot the DVA184.
