HDREADME.TXT Unzipping this file will yield the following contents: DISK1.ZIP DISK2.ZIP DISK3.ZIP DISK4.ZIP DISK5.ZIP First unzip the file which will eventually make up a five-disk set that is installed via the floppy drive. So have five blank formatted floppy disks available for copying the install files to. 1) Insert a blank floppy disk into the floppy drive. UNZIP the file DISK1.ZIP onto the floppy disk. This will decompress and copy the entire contents of DISK1.ZIP to the floppy drive. Remove the floppy disk and label it HDVA292 Disk 1 of 5. 2) In a similar manner, UNZIP the file DISK2.ZIP (yields DATA2.CAB). Label this floppy HDVA292 Disk 2 of 5. 3) In a similar manner, UNZIP the file DISK3.ZIP (yields DATA3.CAB). Label this floppy HDVA292 Disk 3 of 5. 4) In a similar manner, UNZIP the file DISK4.ZIP (yields DATA4.CAB). Label this floppy HDVA292 Disk 4 of 5. 5) In a similar manner, UNZIP the file DISK5.ZIP (yields DATA5.CAB). Label this floppy HDVA292 Disk 5 of 5. Now, let's use the installation floppies to update the HDVA292 Software. Make sure that the HDVA292 Analyzer is powered-on. If it is powered-on and the HDVA292 Application is running, then first exit the HDVA292 Application. 1) Insert HDVA292 Disk1 into the HDVA292 Analyzer's floppy drive. 2) Open the Start menu by pressing the Start button found in the lower left- hand corner of the display. 3) Select "Run ..." 4) In the Run dialog, type A:\SETUP and then press the OK button. Follow the Setup Wizard instructions which include inserting Disks 2, 3, 4 and 5. 5) At the end of the installation, the Reboot? dialog will appear. After you press the OK button to reboot, wait until WindowsNT writes data to the disk. After the data is written to disk and while the analyzer is rebooting, remove Disk 5 from the floppy drive.
